Early Season – May

Preparing for Winter
The last of our winter preparations are done and now we just need to keep picking the sprouts and wait for the frosts so we can check out the sweet potatoes.
Autumn Crops
The Courgettes and Berries continue to produce and we get our first corn of the season.
Summer Harvest
We've had a huge crop of Courgettes and Brocolli.
2017 Season Progressing Well
Most of the seedlings are in and we've netted and watered. All looking good. All we need now is for the stuff to grow and not to be eaten by the critters!
Getting Ready for the 2017 Season
Everything is ready for the Summer of 2017. We have everything manured and dug over. Mostly weed free and ready to go. Have bought some new strawberry plant which will go into the bed prepared below:

The Marrow Harvest
Some of the Marrows / Courgettes recently picked. Notice the size of some. The one is the length of an arm!!
Doing Some Watering during a Hot Spell
In a spell of warm weather we need to get up 2 or 3 times a week to keep the plants watered.
Work Progressing Well
Everything is going to plan except for the weather. Beds all ready for planting. Now we just need some Summer!
