After a mess up involving the guy (Frank) allocating us an allotment that his wife had already given to somebody else we finally got started in the new allotment. The new plot is further up the hill so has a better view!
Went out today to get started to be a bit disappointed as the plot was not in the state we had been promised. (Rotavated and manured.) Nevertheless we decided to start digging. While we were digging Frank arrived with a digger full of manure which he the put on the allotment. Another load and a rotavation with a farming grade rotavator (full plot done in about 5 minutes) we were ready to go!
We then started to mark out the beds:
